really eventful morning
i really need to sleep... but i want to tell all of you about my very eventful morning.
overslept and woke up at 6.50am when my son has to be in school by 7.10am!! anyway, got ready in 15 mins and called a cab at 7.05am, cab came at 7.10am. my son reached school at 7.20am - late. the highlight of the morning? nearing the school, realised i did not bring my wallet i.e. no money, no ezlink card and no housekeys. luckily my son has some money with him. he "loaned" me $10 and the change of $1.10 is not enough for me to even take a bus home. *sigh* how? go to office or go home? decided to go home and see how far $1.10 can bring me. however the driver was nice enough to let me go all the way to tiong bahru and save me having to walk the extra 4 bus-stops from redhill mrt station. that was a relief. still managed to get to the office on time.
the events did not stop here...after reaching the office, walked to subway to get a cup of steamed milk, walked back and found out it's spoilt milk. walked back again to have it changed. any good came out of all this? of course. got lots of fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies to share with my friends in the office. :)) they are so very tasty.
eyes can hardly open now. so pardon me if there are any spelling mistakes ok?
i'm looking forward to tomorrow. yes, tomorrow's going to be lots of fun. meeting up with a netfriend from malaysia and i'm bringing her shopping for beads and stones for jewellery making. a whole afternoon of looking at beauty and sharing and learning. it is going to be so satisfying. probably go for dinner after shopping.
