busy, busy, busy....
been really busy lately. more students , more projects, more work....but happy doing what i'm doing. that's the life. isnt' it?
YES !!added a thursday meetup at harbourfront in addition to saturdays at clementi west. been getting enquiries to join in the knitting sessions when we gather at harbourfront. this is really fun. it feels good to be able to share the joys of craft with so many people. knowing that the new students are getting it and motivated to finish a project so that they can start on another one makes me really happy. i love these meetups. feel free to drop by HarbourFront Food Junction on Thursdays. we'll be there from abt 6.30pm to 8.30pm or Saturdays at void deck of blk 608 Clementi West St1 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. call me if you get lost ok?
just did a jewelry class with the Girls' Brigade from Christ Church Secondary School. each of them made a pendant. i had a great time and i am sure most of them did as well. some chose to use the finished pendant as a necklace or choker and some decided to use it as a charm accessory for their mobile phones or digital cameras or bags. the flower pendant is pretty isn't it? one of the teachers did a multi-coloured one and it looks really charming.
another exciting day is coming up soon...looking forward to 16 Nov. meeting up with some friends for breakfast then go for a crystal yarn workshop by swarovski. it's their new product. not sure what we will be doing but i'm sure it's going to be creative. after that it's lunch and on to another great jewelry session at my friend's shop in novena. i'm going to work my right brain the whole day. :P
be with nature...touch the leaves and the flowers and the trees when you can and go back to basics.
