loved today
went for volunteer orientation at Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf)...and i understood what the speaker was signing!! haha...not too bad yeah. :D
i was most impressed by the song signing performance by Signifique. they were really having fun. signed up for "public education" and of course Signifique. hee hee...cannot sing songs at least can sign songs, also good.
event two - afternooncraft session at clementi west st 1...another wonderful afternoon of doing all things crafty plus food and drinks. though dinner with a friend was cancelled at the last minute, it was still a good evening. i stayed on to finish a necklace when everyone's gone back and a group of kids came over to keep me company. it was fun talking to them. they showed me a pendant that they picked up and i decided to make it into a necklace for the only girl in the group. i'm sure they'll be back next week to say hello. they wanted to walk me home thinking that i stay around the area!! so cute...finally walk me to the west coast plaza where the shuttle bus is.
was really glad i stayed on to finish my beading project. having so much fun that i almost missed the last shuttle bus to clementi central at 9.45pm.
another good day tomorrow - fleamart day!!
