a moment so personal and intimate
sunday service was phenomenal. Rev Mike Connell gave a real powerful sermon. I had a breakthrough and it's amazing how one can have such a personal, warm and intimate moment with the Holy Spirit in a fully packed hall.
on the bus to church, prayed for an open heart and mind to receive the message to prepare myself for a learning experience. was early, so sat there and just be in the presence. though everyone was busy getting a seat for themselves and the ushers were working like ants doing crowd control, there was a sense of peace and quiet around me. i am ready to receive and i did. :)
the only other time i felt a strong connection was some weeks ago on the bus back to the interchange after service. had to close my eyes and just let the feelings flow. there were words waiting to be spoken but guess i was not ready then. just like aftershocks of an earthquake, this was like an overflow from the church hall. took a while to let the "energies" fill the whole of my system before i could open my eyes and bask in the joys of being filled with the Holy Spirit and loving everything i see and experience. it's a beautiful world out there.
last sunday brought my spiritual growth to a new level. the Holy Spirit filled the whole hall and Rev Mike was right. when you are ready with open arms, you will receive anywhere. did not walk down the aisle for altar call and i received right where i was seated, far far from the stage towards the back. words can't expain how i felt. wanted to tell my daughter the moment i left the hall but could not. it was a most joyful moment to share but it is also a very personal and intimate moment to be cherished and remembered....
