One Million Euros!how much is that in S$? i don't know but it will make me a multi-millionaire. after this note, they sent a Claims Form for verification. i thought "no harm trying to see what comes out of it" so submitted form. a reply came one week later...asking to attend an award presentation ceremony happening in Greece in 3 days' time, hotel already booked and arrangement made to pick us up from the airport and if cannot attend to send via e-mail - account information, contact number, photocopy of identity card
AND remit 320 Euros.
it all sounds just too familiar. didn't the news announce something similar abt ppl getting calls from a hongkong company?? hmmm...i called the Euro Bank of Greece - no such person and no such department. i called the number on the form - it was a fax line. i searched companies shown on the correspondence e-mails - no results other than the following from Google.
The GOOGLE EMAIL LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL scam email shown below claims that the recipient has won money in an international lottery. The email is an attempt to initiate a dialogue with potential victims and subsequently trick them into sending money to the scammers responsible. There is no "GOOGLE EMAIL LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL" and no prize money.hahaha...lesson learnt - MONEY DOESN'T FALL FROM THE SKY so ...continue working those brains lady and continue taking action on making your dreams come true.
