few minor accomplishments today
was all alone on friday after work. all my kids have got "dates" including my 12-year-old boy. all alone. what to do? should i go for my run or just stroll the shopping malls? decided to drop by chinatown to see what's new in the craft world. glad i did that because got some stuff from a shop having sales, was inspired, had my dinner with all the ideas in my head, came back, started putting things together. completed 2 out of 3 that i had in mind hehe...because the 2 are easy, link-them-together earrings. simple but pretty. very happy with what i've done.
went to shop with intention to do more. though only finished one re-stringing for a friend, felt really happy as well because in came a new customer to learn how to make a bracelet. she completed it in just a short time plus her daughter came in and finished a ring!! 2 other knitting customers will be completing their baby knitwear soon and 1 other regular customer completed her jewellery set of necklace, earrings and bracelet. so many accomplishments today. very very good.
ended the day with breakfast cum lunch cum dinner at the 24hour nasi lemak stall near the NUS bus terminus. sat there with my tea, took out my beading magazines and picked out a few projects for my classes, confirmed some knitting projects to work on and planned what i will like to complete tomorrow. all these i should have done long ago.
have to keep the momentum going...
